Warranty and compensation for damage

Legal provisions regarding warranty and tort law apply. The warranty lasts for 2 years from the time of receipt of the delivered goods.

If the Customer discovers defects in the goods, a claim is to be made with the attachment of an exact description (including a photo) by e-mail to sales@canadiancartel.ca.

No specific properties for the contractual goods are assured by Canadian Cartel unless such assurance is made expressly in writing. Canadian Cartel is liable only for defects in the goods themselves and not for any additional damage.

Canadian Cartel does not issue any of its own warranties beyond the legal warranty.

Canadian Cartel is not responsible for damage caused by slight negligence; this does not apply to personal damage or product liability claims.

In addition, all claims are excluded in the event of failure of the Canadian Cartel server and any related loss of the order.

Who is Covered

This warranty extends only to the first consumer purchaser, and is non transferable.

What is Not Covered (Exclusions)

Shipping.  Shipping costs, both to and from, is not covered by Canadian Cartel and is the responsibility of the product owner.

Abuse & Misuse. Defects or damage that result from: (a) improper operation, storage, misuse or abuse, accident or neglect, such as physical damage (cracks, scratches, etc.) to the surface of the product resulting from misuse; (b) contact with liquid, water, rain, extreme humidity or heavy perspiration, sand, dirt or the like, extreme heat, or food; (c) use of the Products for commercial purposes or subjecting the Product or Accessory to abnormal usage or conditions; or (d) other acts which are not the fault of Canadian Cartel are excluded from coverage.

Unauthorized Service or Modification. Defects or damages resulting from service, testing, adjustment, installation, maintenance, alteration, or modification in any way by someone other than Canadian are excluded from coverage. Products or Accessories that show evidence of tampering are excluded from coverage.

According to legal provisions, consumable parts are not covered by warranty. Examples for such parts are:

SSG24:
-piston and piston head
-springs M90 to M190
-spring guide
-trigger box and all its internals
-drilled and original cylinder
-cylinder head
-hop up bucking
-extra tight glider rings

SSP1 & SSP18:
-nozzle
-hop up rubber
-hop up chamber shells
-outer barrel
-trigger unit
-seals in magazines
-recoil spring and rod

SSX23:
-nozzle
-hop up rubber
-trigger unit
-seals in magazines

SSR15:
-hop up Bucking

Furthermore, the opening of the gearbox of the SSR15 will void the warranty.

Other Limitations

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, OTHERWISE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER, AND IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OF IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL CANADIAN CARTEL BE LIABLE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ABILITY OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCTS TO THE FULL EXTENT THESE DAMAGES MAY BE DISCLAIMED BY LAW.

How to Claim Your Warranty

Warranty Claims and Repair for Canadian customers only.  Please contact sales@canadiancartel.ca for RMA approval.

If it is determined that a return is necessary, you will be issued a Return Authorization via a reply email. Send a copy of your RMA email, a copy of your original purchase receipt along with your defective product. Be sure your full contact information (name, address, phone number, and email) is with your RMA product.

Canadian Cartel Shipping and Return Policies

Canadian Cartel only accepts returns purchased directly through this website.  Any shipping errors, product defects, or returns must be reported within 7 days of package receipt.  Returns of Novritsch products purchased through an authorized Novritsch dealer is to be handled directly by your dealer.
